I’m a retired Army Warrant Officer with 22 years of active military service and a dedicated outdoorsman. I’m married to the love of my life, Julie, and have four wonderful children and two granddaughters. I grew up in the mountains of Virginia but have called Kansas home since 2007 and retired from Fort Riley in 2012.
During my time in the Army, I deployed multiple times and have lived in many places overseas and in other parts of the country. From my up bringing and life experiences I have developed a deep appreciation of the outdoors and the importance of land ownership and land stewardship. I am an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoy every opportunity to be in the outdoors. So, as I was approaching retirement from the Army it seemed wise to use that passion for the outdoors and I obtained my Kansas Real Estate License in 2012 and have worked exclusively in farm, ranch, and recreational real estate.
Along with my love of the outdoors I have always focused on improving the quality of life within the community I live in and improving the quality of life for veterans. I have served meals to the needy on Christmas day, I have donated venison to Kansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry, I have hauled clothes, food, and furniture to families in need, and I have given numerous donations to multiple veteran’s organizations.
So, joining forces with Black and Company Realtors and being able to leverage my work in real estate to do even more was an easy decision.
